We are all sad to see it go, but the harvest is just about finished. The grapes have been picked, fermentation has started and almost finished! What this means to you is the wine is almost ready. Well with a few minor steps; one year of barrel aging, plenty of filtering, pressing the reds, well you get the idea. We are open all year come and sample what we have in the bottle! Jazz on The Vine Winterfest
		BACK AGAIN FOR 2010! Jazz on the Vine is the 2010 Long Island Winterfest theme for the third consecutive year. From February 13 through March 21 experience 6 weekends of FREE concerts* featuring some of the finest jazz musicians performing at winery tasting rooms and other venues across the East End of Long Island. Make plans to go to the East End of Long Island this winter, where the vineyards, musicians, hotels, restaurants, cultural venues and attractions will join together to create an array of special events and offers designed to lift the mid-winter doldrums. Cunard Information Session
		As many of you know, Waters Crest Winery has teamed up with the Cunard Cruise line to offer an incredible 12 day Mediterranean Cruise this August. For those of you who are seriously considering this incredible trip, but have many questions about the logistics of the cruise, we have set up a meeting with our Cunard representatives. Join Jim and Linda and the Cunard reps and of course Tom Schaudel at Tom Schaudel’s restaurant, Cool Fish located in Syosett, on Sunday, March 7th beginning at 4pm. Barrel Tastings
		1:00pm - 4:00pm April 4, 10, 17, 25 April is barrel tasting month on the North Fork. Join us for the first sampling of the 2009 vintage straight from the barrel. The flavors are developing nicely with tannins becoming well rounded. Waters Crest will be offering barrel tastings on weekends in April. $10.00 per person Barrel and wine club members are complimentary. Run for The Rosés
		Many wineries will release Rosés in early spring, this is a great time to visit the region. May is cancer awareness month on the North Fork. For every bottle of Rosé sold in the month of May, one dollar will be donated to CancerCare®. Waters Crest will be hosting various chefs, pairing dishes with our Rosé.
