enjoying Waters Crest wines. Glide along under sail on gentle winds through
the beautiful waters of Peconic Bay. Pass by seashore mansions of Shelter
Island past Ram's Head and sail east towards Orient. Enter Gardiner's
Bay where the sea expands and meets the sky. View the famed "Bug
Light" - the Long Beach Bar Light House - at close range, see Plum
and Gardiner's islands in the distance. Hear the sound of the wind, breathe
in the scent of the sea.

The Stony Brook University Center for Wine, Food, and Culture
will host a major international symposium titled "The Art of Balance:
Cool Climate/Maritime Wines in a Global Context," at its Southampton
campus on Long Island. The two-day symposium will feature advanced educational
presentations and wine tastings led by prominent winemakers and vineyard
managers from top wineries in cool climate/maritime winegrowing regions
around the world.

to Benefit Diabetes |

On August 17th Waters Crest Winery & The Red Knights
Motorcycle Club will be hosting a charity ride to benefit diabetes. Starting
at the Manorville Fire Headquarters at 9:00am riding to Waters Crest Winery
for a tasting and raffle prizes. Returning back to headquarters for a
barbecue and music. Waters Crest will being donating a portion of the
proceeds to benefit diabetes.
$20.00 per rider
Includes raffle ticket at Waters Crest
$5.00 for passenger
